A Poet in Taipei
Photography & Words by Adinda De Boer
Hidden in a quiet alley on DunHua South Road, there’s a cute little restaurant called A Poet. You really need to pay attention when passing by, because it’s easily missed. Owned by a designer, which explains the tastefully designed vintage European interior, in every corner you’ll find robust wooden tables, exposed cement walls, antique iron chairs and industrial lamps. The front part of the dining room bathes in sunlight through the glass ceiling, the middle part houses shrubs and flowers flourishing in a small indoor garden.
A quiet little retreat in the middle of bustling Taipei City to enjoy Mediterranean influenced food, or simply one of their many hot or cold teas.
